CALDWELL, Idaho (CBS2) — A woman has been arrested after attempting to complete a wire transfer using fraudulent identification.
According to Caldwell Police, 57-year-old Patricia Sue Meyer of Texas was arrested on several felony charges after she had fraudulently withdrawn over $5000 from someone's account and later attempted to obtain debit cards from the same victim's account at a bank branch in Nampa.
The woman then returned to the same bank in Caldwell and attempted to complete a wire transfer for $37,000.
Police believe Meyer was working with other individuals and the case is still under investigation.
Meyer was booked into the Canyon County Jail on burglary, criminal conspiracy, use of a computer to commit a felony, grand theft, criminal possession of a bank card, misappropriation of personal information, and forgery.
